Tour Highlights

Cycling Sardinia - an Italian island with outstanding natural beauty. We ride the Costa Smeralda’s scalloped bays and hidden coves and explroe the wild and rugged interior. In the afternoon we swim in the turquoise waters and feast on seafood overlooking the Med.

The arrival in Bonifacio, Corsica’s southernmost town, by sea is spectacular, with its impregnable citadel perched on white cliffs. We take 4 boat journeys on this tour and it’s a highlight, sailing across crystal clear blue waters and then pedalling across the islands.

Corsica’s rugged and mountainous interior! We cycle 1500m high mountain passes, through pine forests and soaring granite escarpments with sweeping descents that plunge back to the Med! As we ride quiet mountain roads, wild pigs, goats and various other animals share the roads with us as we pass through tiny historic mountain villages.

The food and wine - a contrast of cultures and flavours. From the tapas bars of Barcelona to incredible seafood of the coast and hearty meats and cheeses from the interior of Sardinia and Corsica. We taste Sardinia’s famous Vermentino di Gallura, a crisp aromatic white and Pietra - Corsica’s renowned chestnut beer! It’s a foodie’s dream!
