Details

Experience some of the world’s best cycling as we ride from the Gold Coast to Byron & Beyond! Quiet rolling country roads, sugar cane, sub-tropical forests, spectacular views, picturesque beaches, laid-back villages and even a few seriously decent mountain climbs. The cycling is superb - it’s quite unexpected and underrated.

Terrain Lots of undulating hilly riding with a few flatter, easier coastal sections. A mix of mountainous, rolling hills and coastal cycling.

Food Northern NSW is a foodies dream destination. From farmers markets to hatted restaurants - it’s a food bowl of exceptional produce and a real culinary gem! This tour is also a food-tour by bike!

Average Daily Distance 80km with 1000m of climbing each day, with 2 shorter loop or optional rest days.

Group Size Small group tour

Accomodation 8 nights in a mix of accommodation styles representative of the region. We stay in a 4 star hotel on the Gold Coast, 3 star hotel/motels for most other nights with 1 night in eclectic/mixed accommodation in Nimbin -.note that earlier bookings will be given preference for accom. style in Nimbin. Contact us for more info.

Included Meals 6 breakfasts (including 1 at 3 Blue Ducks), 3 group evening meals, 1 spectacular group lunch, 4 cyclist friendly afternoon teas, Welcome Briefing drinks on the Gold Coast.

Start/Finish Gold Coast (Coolangatta) QLD with easy access to Gold Coast Airport. Tour start ~4pm on the Saturday and finishes after breakfast on the Sunday.
